Susan Harper
Susan has been a freelance writer and technical writer for more than 15 years. As a freelance writer she has published pieces in a variety of media types from newspapers and magazines to not-for-profit publications and the Internet. As a technical writer she has written primarily for software development. Susan has developed paper documentation, online help systems, and a plethora of other types of documentation for companies such as Yellow Freight Systems and Pitney Bowes. Susan's technical experience ranges from shipping and accounting software, to internal software for engineers and packaged business intelligence software for utilities.
Susan is an avid hiker and biker. She loves hiking Olympic National Park in Washington, the Superior Hiking Trail in northern Minnesota, the Appalachian Trail in Georgia, and Mark Twain National Park in southern Missouri. She has also biked the plentiful trail systems in Georgia, Kansas, and Minnesota. Other topics of interest for Susan include the environment and sustainable solutions.
